Photography
I take photographs to look at things for longer.
Some images become albums: selected studies around a topic, place, light, surface, habit, or recurring question.
Others stay on the contact sheet: small notes from looking, tests, scans, frames, and observations that do not need a full essay.

Albums are slower. They are selected and sequenced. A good album shows photographs and also lets the selection answer back.
