Albums

Albums are selected photographic studies.

A topic can be a place, a kind of light, a surface, a habit, a tool, a route, a roll of film, or something I kept photographing before I knew why.

An album should usually answer a few plain questions:

• What was I looking at?
• Why did it hold my attention?
• What changed after selecting the images?
• What did I learn from the sequence?
